Introducing LGT’s New Managing Partner

Lee Ann Collins, a partner at Lane Gorman Trubitt, has been named managing partner. She makes the fourth managing partner in the firm’s 65 years history.

“The firm is now my client,” said Collins. “My goal is to properly advise and lead the firm in a way that preserves our strong reputation and retains our best employees.”

Collins succeeds Bob Knight who served as the managing partner for 15 years. Knight will remain a partner at LGT to help assist her as needed to guarantee a smooth transition.

“Inevitably, any change in leadership will take us in new directions,” said Knight. “ Lee Ann’s leadership style brings out the best in those with which she works, and I know she will be a positive influence in guiding LGT going forward.”

Collins earned her BBA in accounting from Abilene Christian University. After graduating in 1982, she began working primarily on clients in the construction industry at Dohm & Wolff which merged into LGT in 1987. She began working with LGT in the audit department but later transitioned to the accounting and consulting department, where she became the department leader.
