After less than nine months on the job, SpeedTax executive vice president David Lahey has departed the company.
No comment was issued by Lahey or the sales tax automation company beyond confirming his departure and stating that he left to pursue other opportunities.
Lahey came to SpeedTax from Sage, where he served as vice president of sales for the Sage MAS 90/200/500 and Accpac ERP product lines.
Laheys other roles at Sage included senior director of the Center for Competency and senior director of partner programs. He also served as vice president of partner services at Accpac before it was acquired in 2004.
For 18 years and before joining Accpac, Lahey was president and chief executive of Lahey Software, where he was responsible for the design, engineering and development of the companys six enterprise resource planning modules.
