Withum expands in California

Top 25 Firm Withum acquired Farber Hass Hurley in Chatsworth, California, effective as of Sept. 1.

FHH, founded in 1990, adds three partners and approximately 30 employees to Withum's Los Angeles office. The deal expands Wiithum's assurance and consulting practice, and strengthens its industry and service capabilities, including in industrial and consumer products, not-for-profit, private equity, media and entertainment, life sciences, construction, technology and employee benefit plan services.

Withum, based in Princeton, New Jersey, ranked No. 22 on Accounting Today's 2026 Top 100 Firms list. It reported $609 million in revenue, with 254 partners and over 2,700 employees across 27 offices.

The firm has expanded through acquisitions over the past few years. Last year, it added Freed Maxick in New York, PKF Texas in Houston, and CTM CPAs in Illinois. In 2024 it added BBD LLP in Philadelphia; O'Connor & Drew in Massachusetts in 2023; and Martinez & Associates in Florida and Martini Partners in California in 2022.
