SB Partners and Weber merge

Details: SB Partners LLP of Burlington is expanding its tax practice through a merger with Weber, CA, Tax and Accounting of Oakville. Effective July 1, Richard Weber will join SB Partners as a partner. Weber Tax and Accounting, currently in Oakville, will be joining SB Partners at its offices at 3600 Billings Conn., in Burlington.

Baker Tilly Roelfs and TPW Group merge

Details: Baker Tilly Roelfs of Hamburg, Germany and TPW Group have announced it will merge effective immediately. The strategic merger is a logical expansion of the existing consultancy and service offering, both in terms of services and geographic locations. TPW Group’s 20 partners and 250 employees will join the Hamburg office, adding annual revenues of almost €48 million to the existing Baker Tilly Roelfs revenues of €87 million, bringing the total combined revenues to €135 million. After the transition period, TPW will operate under the Baker Tilly Roelfs name.

NEW YORK

KPMG wraps up health care deal

Details: KPMG completed the purchase of Beacon Partners, a health care IT and management consulting firm. The deal, which was originally announced in April, enhances KPMG's capabilities to meet the needs of healthcare providers, which are facing a much more complex operating environment as reimbursement moves from "volume to value."

OKLAHOMA

Sartain Fischbein to join Eide Bailly

Details: Sartain Fischbein & Company will become part of the Top 100 Firm Eide Bailly LLP. The deal is expected to close on June 1, 2015. Sartain Fischbein brings six partners and 32 staff members to Eide Bailly, giving the firm a total of 26 offices in 12 states and raising its professional count to 1,600, which includes 236 partners. After combining practices, the Tulsa office will be comprised of nine partners and approximately 60 staff members.
