The combined firm will operate under the name M&K Rosenfarb. MKR will include M&K's offices in New York City and Long Island, as well as Rosenfarb's offices in Tinton Falls and Roseland, N.J., and New York City.

In addition to forensic accounting, the combined firm will provide business consulting, tax, audit, valuation, litigation support, dispute consulting, divorce accounting, expert testimony, fraud investigation and government services. The combined firm will have about 500 employees, but there are plans for further expansion to more than 1,000 employees in the next three years, according to managing partner Jeffrey Weiner.
