Kevin Kiyan, Ph.D. has joined Andersen Tax as a managing director in the firm’s US National Tax office, where he will focus on transfer pricing. Prior to Andersen Tax, Kiyan was an executive director at EY responsible for leading the Transfer Pricing and Economics practice in Los Angeles. His practice covered all facets of transfer pricing including planning analyses, documentation, controversy, advanced pricing agreements and IP migration, among others. He also led the firm’s transfer pricing efforts in the Engineering and Construction industry, and used his background in systems architecture to help clients improve their transfer pricing data reporting systems and processes. … Kevin Baril has joined Grant Thornton LLP as principal in the firm’s advisory practice, based in the firm’s San Diego office. Baril has more than 25 years of consulting experience focused on strategy, technology transformation and systems implementation. He has consulted clients across industries on a broad range of business technology issues, including cloud solutions, service offering strategy and formulation, application management, go-to market execution, as well as sales and business development management.

ILLINOIS

Rob Hauswirth has been named managing director with CTC | myCFO, a part of BMO Financial Group. Based in Chicago, Hauswirth will oversee new client engagement across the enterprise. He will work closely with the firm’s leadership to develop and execute strategies for growing the business and delivering exceptional client experiences.

MASSACHUSETTS

Caroline Gosselin has taken on the role of staff accountant at Rodman & Rodman. Gosselin holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Accounting from Bryant University in Rhode Island. She is pursuing a Master's degree in accounting from St. Joseph's College of Maine and she intends to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation. Prior to Rodman & Rodman, Gosselin was an accounting assistant in the controller's office at Bryant University for more than three years. She also served as a volunteer income tax assistant at VITA/IRS. … Dean Nelson has been named principal and Technology and Digital Advisory National Director for CohnReznick’s advisory practice.

NEW JERSEY

Richard Fuchs has joined Untracht Early as a senior assurance manager. Prior to joining the firm, he spent more than 10 years with a national accounting firm in their Financial Services Industry Practice where he focused on performing audits of the aforementioned entities as well as ensuring compliance with SEC and FINRA Rules and Regulations. He also performed audits of employee benefit plans such as defined contribution plans and defined benefit plans. In addition, in his various roles, he had a leadership role in the area of quality control.

NEW YORK

Daniel Nealon has joined LCS&Z LLP as a staff accountant. Nealon graduated from the University at Albany with a Master of Science in Taxation, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Financial Analysis.

PENNSYLVANIA

Marcia Hoffacker has joined Reinsel Kuntz Lesher LLP as the firm’s business risk services practice leader. Hoffacker brings more than 18 years of combined audit, fraud and risk management experience in private industry and public accounting. She has extensive experience in business risk identification, evaluation and management; fraud prevention, detection and investigation; and internal audit services. Prior to joining RKL, Hoffacker spent nine years as Senior Director of Internal Assurance and Compliance for a Fortune 250 Company. Prior to that, she was a Senior Manager of Business Risk Services for an international public accounting firm. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and resides in Palmyra.

UNITED KINGDOM

Deloitte has named Nick Owen as chairman of its UK business. Owen has been with the Big Four accountancy firm since 2002 and heads its private sector consulting team. He was elected by partners at the firm. Owen succeeds David Cruickshank, who has been the chairman of Deloitte UK for eight years.
