Profession vets launch 2021 Winning Ways Conference

Accounting thought leaders Gary Shamis, Gary Boomer and Allan Koltin announced a reimagining of their annual practice management conference by introducing the inaugural Winning Ways Conference, to be held Nov. 16-17, 2021, at the Lowes Chicago O’Hare Hotel.

The event, much like the annual Winning Is Everything conference that the trio hosted in past years, will cover the latest trends and best practices for accounting firms by bringing together the profession’s thought leaders, innovators and disruptors to collaborate and network.

Shamis is the CEO of Winding River Consulting, Boomer is the visionary and strategist at Boomer Consulting, and Koltin is CEO of Koltin Consulting Group.

With a theme of “Firm of the Future,” the conference will include a session featuring the managing partners of three progressive firms, Richey May, The Real Estate CPA and H & Co. Global Advisors, discussing how they have adapted and differentiated their practices over the past 18 months.

Registration is now open, though capacity is limited to 200 attendees so tickets are required and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“The accelerated pace of change in our industry is exciting to watch,” said Shamis in a statement. “Hearing what those firms leading the way are doing only propels the industry as a whole forward and gives smaller firms the insight they need to develop a winning edge.”

The conference is sponsored by Tri-Merit, Aprio, Anduin, ADP and IntroHive. Registration is available here.
