Rainmaker Adds Moore as SVP

The Rainmaker Companies announced that Scott Moore will be joining the group as a senior vice president.

Moore brings 24 years of experience to the training, consulting and alliance organization, including a 14-year stint as chief marketing officer for Top 100 Firm Dixon Hughes Goodman. Most recently he has been a partner at business development and marketing consultancy Athens Partners.

In his new role, he will focus on consulting with clients, expanding the group's consulting service line, developing relationships in niche alliances, and building the Rainmaker Companies brand in the marketplace.

"By overlaying Scott's experience in niche growth strategies, sales methodologies, infrastructure design/development, and marketing communication programs with Rainmaker's established offerings in training, alliances and consulting, we will be uniquely positioned to partner with firms of various sizes and stages of growth," said Rainmaker Companies president Angie Grissom in a statement. "Our holistic vision of how firm leaders, rising stars, and growth professionals can succeed through effective strategy, skills, and execution will be enhanced by Scott's advocacy."

"I always have regarded The Rainmaker Companies' brand as among the most recognizable and respected when it comes to growth consulting and training," Moore said in a statement. "I am thrilled to now be joining this team and contributing the experience I've gained to help Rainmaker clients."

A graduate of Clemson University, Moore has served as a board member and past president of the Association for Accounting Marketing, and been named to Accounting Today's list of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting.
