Sensiba San Filippo LLP has acquired The Resultants Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for small and midsize business clients.
The Resultants will become part of SSF’s Corporate Governance and Compliance Consulting Practice, led by partner Frank Balestreri. As part of the deal, Resultants founder Kevin Shives will become a partner at SSF.

Sensiba San Filippo, based in the San Francisco suburb of Pleasanton, Calif., ranked 23rd on Accounting Today’s Regional Leaders list of the Top Firms in the West for 2016, with $20.7 million in annual revenue. The firm is part of the Morison KSi international association of accounting firms.
