Thomas Howell Ferguson Appoints Two Shareholders

Allison Harrell and Michael Kalifeh were admitted as shareholders at Thomas Howell Ferguson PA. The firm now has a total of 10 owners.

[IMGCAP(1)] Harrell leads the firm’s not-for-profit team and works with the practice leader in the Assurance Services Department to over-see the operations of various audits performed by THF. Her daily roles include fieldwork supervision of approximately 30 assurance services team members, interaction with client board of directors, as well as report preparation in the areas of financial and compliance audits.

Harrell is a board member of the not-for-profit organization Tree House of Tallahassee and recently received the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Women to Watch Award in the Emerging Leader category.

[IMGCAP(2)] Michael Kalifeh provides tax compliance and consulting services to corporate, partnership, not-for-profit, trust, and individual clients. He is also certified as an expert in sales and use tax in Florida. He holds a the Certified in Florida Sales and Use Tax designation, which is sponsored by the FICPA and is authorized by the Florida Department of Revenue.

As the leader of the firm’s private business and entrepreneurial focused team, Kalifeh mentors other CPAs as they develop their specialty areas in tax services. Kalifeh currently serves as the secretary/treasurer on the Board of Governors for the Governors Club of Tallahassee.
