The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy released two publications detailing 2017 Uniform CPA Exam data and trends.

Last week I had the pleasure of taking four interns from my office on a “field trip” to Manhattan. I also included a senior accountant who started here as an intern.

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board will award one $10K scholarship each to 332 colleges and universities across the country.

The National Society of Accountants and its Scholarship Foundation highlighted 25 college students across the country pursuing accounting careers.

Over 100 minority college students graduated from this year's program, aimed at diversifying the profession and helping candidates succeed at obtaining the CPA license.

The organization's Educational Foundation recognized 27 accounting students for the 2018-19 academic year.

A total of $101,925 was awarded to 48 deserving students pursuing their CPA licenses in the state.

One of two teams representing the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Lee Business School won the Institute of Management Accountants' annual event for the second year in a row.

The organization recognized 39 top local accounting students by providing tuition and textbooks.
