The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is aiming to put academia on the same page as the profession.

The New Jersey Society of CPAs will provide the funds to 50-plus local college and high school students.

The new two-day program invites accounting students to meet with professionals, prep for the CPA exam, and more.

The organization anticipates more than $250K will be awarded to undergrad and graduate students within the state.

The second annual class will feature 135 students in the "future-ready" course.

Undergrad students can now also receive up to 80 hours of CFP CE credits for their participation in this year's event.

The Core and Specialized programs will offer deeper topics for the growing field of study.
