App of the Week: TripIt

With many companies using Concur’s travel management and expense software internally, its integrated app TripIt is a no-brainer for most business travelers to have on their smart devices. Especially now that its newly available for Apple Watch, where its features will really shine.

Such a no-brainer, in fact, that once downloaded, the app automatically scans your emails for travel details to combine all relevant information into one master itinerary. The information is so seamlessly synced and updated you can almost forget about the approaching trip—until TripIt pops up to remind you and give you the latest information and changes.

These travel plans can then be accesses across all devices, and even offline. More frequent or notification-happy travelers can upgrade to the Pro version to get real-time flight alerts, a seat tracker, flight finder, refund notifications, point tracker, and notifications for bad weather.

TripIt is available for iOS, Android, and Apple Watch.
