Boomer Consulting teams with Business Learning Institute

Boomer Consulting has joined forces with the Business Learning Institute, a strategic learning partner and talent management consultancy, to develop the Anticipatory Accelerator, a two-day workshop to help accounting firms identify client opportunities.

The Anticipatory Accelerator will help accountants use strategic foresight to identify trends and related client service opportunities.

“In a world of exponential change, the question we are hearing from firm leaders is, ‘Are we moving fast enough?’” said Business Learning Institute CEO Tom Hood, who is also CEO of the Maryland Association of CPAs, in a statement. “This program is designed to elevate and accelerate their transformation to get ahead of this change and stay ahead.”

The workshop is designed for accounting firm leaders who want to learn more about delivering high-value services for clients. Topics include packaging and pricing strategies for new services, non-traditional resources for building teams, and communicating about services through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. It will include eight hands-on sessions on transforming business models, building talent resources, managing projects, scaling a practice, using hard trends, and building a technology foundation.

“Firm leaders are under pressure to identify how, when, and what to change in their current business model to remain competitive in a changing world,” said Boomer Consulting president Sandra Wiley. “The Anticipatory Accelerator will help leaders create a roadmap and a plan that will jumpstart their firm of the future.”

The workshop is scheduled to take place Nov. 5-6, 2018 at the Accounting Innovation Center in Kansas City, Missouri. For more details, click here.
