Sheridan's session focused on the skills young professionals need to succeed in a "changing and complex world."

On Monday morning, Wolters Kluwer began their 2016 CCH Connections User Conference in Washington, D.C. with a keynote address from Jason Marx, CEO of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting North America. Marx presented important details from the 2016 Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting survey and white paper, “Game Plan for the Future: Are You and Your Clients in Sync?”

Becker Professional Education announced earlier this month the launch of FastPass Plus - a six-week, express prep course on top of its existing CPA Exam Review programs. The live webcast course looks to help candidates prepare and sit for the exam before the scheduled April 2017 changes.

The AICPA announced on Tuesday the graduating class of the 2016 AICPA Leadership Academy. 37 young leaders in accounting participated in the four-day program at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham, N.C. earlier this month.

Last month, at their Leading Partners Retreat and Firm Administrators Roundtable, CPAmerica International introduced their new RISE Inclusion Initiative - a complimentary career development program for member firms.
