Mauldin & Jenkins, a Top 75 Firm based in Atlanta, has expanded its governmental advisory practice through a merger with the Prinzo Group, a government-focused technology firm in Alpharetta, Georgia, specializing in system modernization, procurement and policy implementation. Owner Rob Prinzo joined M&J as a partner, adding dedicated technology expertise to M&J's existing governmental advisory services.

"Our governmental advisory practice area was missing one key component: IT and systems services," said M&J governmental practice and Atlanta market leader Adam Fraley in a statement Tuesday. "The Prinzo Group fills that gap perfectly."

M&J has long collaborated with Prinzo and his team. "From the beginning, the Prinzo Group has focused on helping government organizations turn strategy into action," he said in a statement. "Joining Mauldin & Jenkins allows us to scale that mission with a firm that brings deep governmental expertise and a shared commitment to practical, results-driven solutions. Together, we can deliver end-to-end support that helps public sector organizations modernize with confidence."

Expanded services for the governmental advisory practice now include system modernization, strategic procurement and vendor selection, project management, policy implementation, and organizational change management.

Mauldin & Jenkins ranked No. 65 on Accounting Today's 2025 list of the Top 100 Firms. After a merger late last year, M&J had a combined total of $156.2 million in annual revenue, 747 staff members and 124 partners and 19 offices. Earlier in the year, M&J also added Bradshaw, Gordon & Clinkscales in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2023, M&J merged in CFO Navigator in Marietta, Georgia. In 2021, M&J added CDPA in Athens, Florence and Huntsville, Alabama. In 2020, M&J acquired Plush Smith in Sarasota, Florida, and in 2019 it acquired Jon Campbell & Associates in Brandon, Florida.
