ParenteBeard LLC has launched a sustainability practice to work with clients on establishing sustainability initiatives at their organizations.
Services will include creating the organization’s strategy, assuring the credibility and transparency of sustainability measures already in place, and teaming with clients to create sustainability and corporate social responsibility reports.
The new practice is led by Cynthia (Cindy) Wollman. She joins ParenteBeard from CRW Graphics, where she served as vice president of new business development. In that role, she was instrumental in aligning the organizations sustainability efforts with their strategies. She is also an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University where she has students link organizational effectiveness through sustainability measures using the Global Reporting Index measures.
“Clients are interested in improving the value they offer customers and increasing revenue and profit through sustainability,” Wollman said in a statement. “Our practice will advance the message that long-term sustainability is driven by corporate responsibility.”

ParenteBeard’s Sustainability Practice will work with companies and organizations that currently have sustainability initiatives in progress as well as with those developing new ones. The team’s areas of focus will include operational and environmental assessments, the triple bottom line assessment (known as People, Planet and Profit), and establishing the organization’s key performance indicators.

The practice will assist all sectors served by the firm in integrating sustainability into their core strategy, and in engaging stakeholder groups, with a particular focus on healthcare providers, corporate and educational institution clients.

"Initiating a sustainability practice—and the arrival of Cindy Wollman as its leader - is an excellent example of ParenteBeard’s strategic growth plan,” said ParenteBeard CEO Bob Ciaruffoli.  “As the sustainability practice develops what we expect to be a stellar reputation in the business community, Cindy will be a strong asset to the ParenteBeard team, as she supports our firm’s values and principles and has the in-depth experience to lead this important service for our clients.”
