Platform enters South Carolina

Top 50 Firm Platform Accounting Group acquired The Hultquist Firm in Greenville, South Carolina, which will join as Milestone Advisors.

Milestone is a tax, accounting and advisory firm servicing individuals and small to mid-sized businesses. The deal is Platform's first acquisition in South Carolina and expands its reach in the Southern U.S.

It equips our team with the support to navigate this next era, while unlocking new growth opportunities for our employees."  

Platform Accounting Group, based in Holladay, Utah, ranked No. 41 on Accounting Today's 2026 Top 100 Firms list. It reported $215.7 million in revenue, with over 1,100 employees across more than 50 offices.

The firm has been acquiring firms steadily. In May, the firm added Burke & Associates CPAs in Massachusetts, and Accounting Specialists in Florida. In February, it added Smeriglio Associates in Connecticut, and Riibner and Associates in Maryland in January.  

In February 2024, it completed an $85 million funding round led by Cynosure Group in Salt Lake City.
