Squar Milner to combine with SRG

Squar Milner LLP, a Top 50 Firm based in Irvine, California, is expanding its presence in the San Fernando Valley by merging with SRG LLP, a firm in Woodland Hills, effective Dec. 1, 2019.

The Woodland Hills office will be the second location in the San Fernando Valley for Squar Milner, as well as the third in Los Angeles. The deal will make Squar Milner one of the top three accounting firms in the San Fernando Valley and among the top 10 in the Los Angeles area. Squar Milner currently has offices in San Francisco, San Mateo, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Encino, California, plus the Cayman Islands.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Squar Milner ranked 41st on Accounting Today’s 2019 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $117.8 million in annual revenue and approximately 65 partners and more than 550 professionals and associates. SRG will add $11 million of revenue and nearly 55 professionals.

In February, Squar Milner merged in Louie & Wong LLP, a firm in San Francisco, and last November it combined with another San Francisco firm, Boas & Boas LLP. In 2017, Squar Milner merged in two other California firms, DZH Phillips and Loomis & Co. CPAs.

SRG (formerly known as Solomon Ross Grey & Company) was founded in the 1960s and offers accounting, tax and consulting services such as assurance, tax planning and strategies, tax compliance and controversy and strategic business advice.
