In an effort to aid Ohians struggling to make ends meet, regional CPA and consulting firm Rea & Associate's annual “Help Can Hunger” campaign raises food and monetary donations throughout their 11 offices across the state. This year, which marked the 11th year of the food drive, more than 24,900 pounds of food was collected to benefit people in need.

The AICPA announced on Monday that students from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas have earned first place in the 2014 AICPA Accounting Competition, earning a $5,000 award for their school.
