Payroll and benefits outsourcing provider ADP is nowoffering enhancements in its Taxware Enterprise System with Data Editor - itssales, use, and value added tax system - which includes a hosted version of theproduct.
Taxware Enterprise System with Data Editor now alsoincludes a greater selection of domestic and international transaction types,which reduces clients' needs to develop custom codes to support theirprocessing systems. At the same time, if a client is facing complex businesschallenges, such as making allocations across multiple states or calculatingVAT when transferring goods from one entity to another in a foreign country,the Data Editor can be customized accordingly.
ADP can also now deliver hosting via in-house mirroredTier IV data centers.
Other product enhancements include built-in functionalityto support audit defense; coverage of more than 210 million tax rules and13,000 rates in 250 countries and territories; access to a database of rulesfor thousands of situations, including full and partial exemptions, specialrates, caps and thresholds; and a transactional tax engine to integrate ERP andeCommerce systems.
