The app landscape is full of promises to increase productivity and collaboration, but mobile-first word processor Quip delivers with a full suite of tools—including spreadsheets—that all coexist in one app.
The spreadsheets, specifically, support formulas and more than 400 functions you can mix and match with other parts of the document, essentially setting that data free of their cell confinement for maximum collaboration.
Spreadsheets join chat and shared task lists as features built into the app so various methods of team communication are available for each document.
Most vitally, all of these elements are optimized for mobile, including the complex spreadsheets usually confined to a monitor, and are available offline so work can continue without an internet connection and be automatically synced when one is restored.
