Greenwalt Names Audit Director

Amanda Meko has been named director of the Audit and Other Assurance Services Group at Greenwalt CPAs.

She is a partner at the firm and serves as the team leader for the firm’s Not-for-Profit Services Group. Meko will assume the director responsibilities previously held by Anita Sherman, who recently was named as the incoming managing partner of Greenwalt CPAs.

“Amanda is ideally suited to take over these duties, having been responsible for the firm’s quality control and peer review processes, as well as our Audit and Other Assurance Services Group staffing and scheduling,” said managing partner Larry K. Greenwalt. “She has very strong technical skills, which is very important for practice leaders to have.”

Meko is very dedicated to the not-for-profit community. She volunteers on the Finance Committee of the Avon Education Foundation; chairperson for the Not-for-Profit Committee of CPA Associates International; currently is a member of the Finance Committee for the Lutheran Child and Family Services; and the Audit Committee of Volunteers of America. In addition, for the past several years she has participated on the Not-for-Profit Conference Committee for the Indiana CPA Society Not-for-Profit Seminar.
